Nason Creek Kahler Reach Habitat Enhancement

Over multiple seasons concluding in 2024, Matia installed 19 engineered log jams along Nason Creek near Leavenworth, WA for Chelan County Department of Natural Resources. Challenging conditions required the use of sheet pile cofferdams that were deployed at each of the construction areas. In total over 1100 logs were installed as part of the log jams as well as slash and other habitat features.
